Infant Program

In our infant center, our desire is to provide an atmosphere in which each baby is encouraged to develop according to his/her own timetable. We believe an infant nurtured with love and gentleness has the best chance to develop a positive and trusting attitude toward life and the world he/she lives in. Infants are held, rocked, cuddled, fed, talked to, listened to, played with, and encouraged to crawl, stand, walk, and imitate. Visual stimulation is provided through bright colors in light, airy surroundings. Books, pictures, Bible lessons and music add to the variety of everyday sounds found in the infant rooms. Infants are exposed to basic words in sign language to better enable them to communicate.

Toddler Program

In the Toddler classrooms, the goal is to provide many opportunities to develop independence in self-help skills. Children are encouraged to succeed in simple art and music activities, the use of fine motor skills and the opportunity for large muscle play both indoors and outdoors. Teachers foster and encourage a toddler’s emerging need for independence while recognizing the toddler’s need to be cared for as an infant.

PreSchool Program

The goal of the preschool program is to help young children develop a positive self-concept. The teachers provide a developmentally appropriate learning environment based on the concept of self-selected activities at interest centers. These hands-on activity centers include art, music, science, block building, books, manipulatives, dramatic play area and math.
